Surf's Down

In early 1979, the Krayolas recorded a double album at Dune Recording in north San Antonio. It was guerrilla-style studio with an eight-track tape machine. The project was abandoned and never released.
One of the true gems from those long-ago sessions was “Surf’s Down.” It was an innocent, Beach Boys-inspired song with harmony and love around one microphone.
We dedicate “Surf’s Down” to Brian Wilson who meant so much to the world and to the Krayolas from our earliest days.
