I just heard tonight that Flaco Jimenez died.
I’d known the guy since 1977 when I met him at ZAZ Studios/Joey Records. I’ve written about him for more than 30 years and recorded and played with him onstage.
One of the real cool things we did together was an acoustic number called ‘Under One Roof’, we offer it as a tribute to Flaco.
